Original rapiers?

hello.I hope all members have been very well and happy since the last time i had chance to log into the forum,which has been quiet long time.

May I please learn your opinion about the attached pictures? Could any of these rapiers have possibility to be original 300-400 years old or so?(The first picture especially)
According to me impossible because i cant feel even a least degree of material aging expected to occur on almost half a thousand years aged swords even if they have been kept very carefully since the day of their production. But a good internet buyer of me insists they are original, and requests me to find rapiers like them for him.

I know very, very little about rapiers, but even i can see that these are obvious modern repros. Your good buyer friend has had someone pull the woll over his eyes, me thinks.

This is not real.You just have to look at the logo in the back of the pictures. A known site for sword reproductions

Yes although I dont know that brand or website whatever, they are obviously new reproductions. I hoped a very little possibility just in the 1st picture only because he says he is about to buy that one!! and doesnt like some real antique rapiers which I offer him, because of their 'poor' condition

. Perhaps as the last hope I will try to convince him showing this thread so that he will keep his money and buy some more stuff from me instead

And the first one is a Darkwood Armory "ringhilt" rapier. They make modern repro, of course. Their products are rather good, if one obviates some weight issues in a few of their models.

The one shown here is Catalog Number AVBN #58. Go HERE for Darkwood's general catalog and HERE for what they call the "ringhilt" rapiers.

No way one is going to find an original rapier at these prices, I'm afraid.
