Post Another mid 20th Century Indian Kukri?

Picked up by my Uncle when in the Himalayas in the late 1970s. Handle seems to be bone? Looks fairly crude. Is this another North Indian made kukri?

Thanks for the responses, chaps. I’ll get some more shots and dimension up. The “pommel” looks to be brass.
