				 | Halmahera tridacna arm bangles and a signal trumpet

Just for sharing, a few antique arm bangles made from tridacna and a snail shell signal trumpet. All collected on Halmahera around 20 years back.

Very nice Sajen. I have always like shell trumpets since I was young. I have a similar Triton shell with the hole at the very end. I signaled the coming of the New Year a few nights ago with it. |

When all people would welcome the New Year with a triton trumpet our pets wouldn't be afraid anymore! Regards, Detlef | |

Very nice! As a trumpet, I usually think of Arjuna hesitating to blow his shell trumpet to start the war in the Bhagavad Gita. |
