			Hello dear members,

I have this pole axe hammer head . It was sold as an historicism piece, I don't think it's antique but I wanted to show it to the forum specialists : The blade of the axe has been changed and fixed with melted? nails ? One fixation side part of the original axe is now missing. Strange for me to be 19th historicism deco-revival piece. Maybe a real antique popular-peasant piece ? Maybe just a transformed 20th meat hammer/axe in some medieval funny item ?? ![]() There is a shaft but it don't seems so old, The piece is 30cm high and 20cm large. It comes from a swiss militar arsenal . |
