			From your photo, this does not scream fake to me and my impression is towards genuine, but this is also a bit out of my experience, so I would not count my impression for much. I have seen casting defects on genuine 19th century militaria and so I suspect you will want to ask if the finishing quality is adequate and if there is evidence of wear and age. If the casting defects are very bright and clean - no accumulation of dirt, wax, etc - it may be ultrasonic cleaning but a forgery would have to be a worry.
