Which one is the "buku"? I am not familiar with that term. What makes that type unique??

Hi Charless the size make it buku or buko

Angled, largest width <5cm Latok Malay, Melanau

Angled, largest width >5cm Buko Land-Dayak

The smallest one is an buku/buko

Do you have the publication off Shelford if not let me now I will send it to you.

Nice collection!!!
The blade of the top one is interesting, it resembles a pandat blade.
The hilt looks a bit strange on that?
The brass dots I haven't seen before on a latok, interesting.

Here is another unusual latok hilt variation.

VVV that is one fascinating and wonderful hilt - I LOVE the knotwork carving!

That's the only one I have seen with that kind of hilt (so far).
Here are the only two I could find at the moment (as I am not at home now).
