Yes it is from tibet, most likely from the Kham area or the Lhoba peoples, bordering Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh

No, I own it. It's not one of my favourites, so it sits in the corner with a few others. It is NOT for sale by me or anyone else. I only posted it above after watching a yootoob video on mongol sabres, and was curious.
