			A heavy French siege helmet Excavated in Bourgogne. 
		
		
		
			Two pieces skull faceted in fourteen sections with a pivoted peak This helmet is with additional plates mounted on the skull . Siege helmet with such faceted skull are very rare. Weight about 7 kg. Any comment on it would be welcome. Last edited by Cerjak; 1st May 2017 at 05:23 PM.  |

			That dent is the bullet impact Proving that the helmet would absorb fire from hand gun, the dent it made in the skull, showing that the bullet didn't penetrate.
