Unknown Shield Help Please
A friend picked this up a couple of weeks ago and we have been discussing where from. At first I thought from the Pacific Islands but upon further study I told her I think from N. Africa, like Morocco.
What say you? All opinions welcome. Thanks, Terry |

Terry, I believe your shield is from Abyssinia (nowadays Ethiopia). A search of the forum should produce threads where these shields are discussed in greater detail and pictures of similar examples.
