'gold hurap' in buda kris ?

hello all,
a few months ago, I bought a budha kris in dirty conditions (probably from the Singosari era), 'dapur' kris is mundarang, with square 'pesi', after I cleaned several times with sewing machine oil, looks delicate gold grains in almost every bar . whether this so-called 'gold hurap'. I expect an opinion from the forum.

I'm sorry, but I cannot be certain of anything from these fotos.

To form an opinion I would need to examine physically with magnification at least.

I have seen a similar effect when I have used industrial quality arsenic on a blade.

I am not suggesting that this has been used here, but the colour of iron can vary depending upon many factors, one of those factors is uncontolled impurities in substances which come into contact with the blade material.

Makes me wonder if this is the origin of the square pesi in Moro kris.......

May i inquire what makes this a keris buda. This is not any blade profile that i recognize as keris buda.
