Here goes an ordinary keris with its ordinary warangka, handle, pendok, and mendak.
this is an example of "cheap" keris that usually found in Jakarta keris market. This might be a new made keris, but who knows??? people may get lucky, buying a very dirty keris and found a good steel under the heavy rust. but mostly we get what we pay for. Just have these pictures to share. Any informations would be great. I bought this keris from a frien in Jakarta . I have a suspect this piece might be a new made one. What do you think? regards, FERRY Last edited by ferrylaki; 18th December 2007 at 06:21 AM. |

For less than $20/- is it blade only?
or comes with the nice fittings? if blade only... it's very cheap... if it comes with the fittings... then it's super dirt cheap... I want one.

I dont know whether it is just me, but I have this weird feeling that this blade may be artificially aged, but of course, I could be wrong.....
