			Recently picked this one up. Was told it might be spanish, and old, but have doubts. total length is 40 inches, with handle being 7, solid and heavy steel. grip has been wound with waxed string(?), but seems newer to me. the whole sword seems questionable. any ideas and age or type, maybe a prop?

			Looks like a piece made by a Spanish company called Excalibur in the mid-1960's - mid-1970's. I believe the company is now known as Swords of Spain and still makes a lot of the same designs. Excalibur's trademark was a pic of the Lady of the Lake's arm holding Excalibur up by the blade. This was etched on one side of the blade's ricasso, and "SPAIN" stamped on the other.
