				 | What is this?

Does anyone know what this is and its use? There are symbols at the top that looks Arabic, maybe? There are wire shaped into butterflies on the stem. There’s a hole at the end of the knife handle connected to a small pipe that fits into the wooden hole of the sheath. I believe the hole terminates as a nipple at the top. Thanks in advance. |

Birmese or Laotian maybe? The metalwork and round grip and scabbard mouth reminds me of some dha.

Is this some South American " Bombilla" filter to drink Yerba Mate tea where someone has put a knife into?
