			Hello Omar, I believe these fossil elephant molar fittings are modern and emulate classic Straits style; blade might be old. IMHO, a sewar regardless of which coast along the Malacca Strait it hails from. The Melayu badik seems to originally hail from more northern areas. Regards, Kai |

			It is a type of vegetative motif used among the Indonesians, Malayasians, and Philippines (Maranao call it okir). And I agree with the mastodon molar tooth attribution. |
