				 | Afar Jile for comment

Am I correct in believing this to be an Afar Jile? I found it listed as a kukri on the eplace and picked it up cheaply. It isn't large: 12.5" overall; 8" blade. Can anyone tell me the significance, if any, of the punch marks on the blade? One wild thought I had was symbolic representation of magic squares. Cheers, Russel |

I believe in previous threads this khanjar style was identified as originally from Palestine. Does not look Afar to me in any case. Regards, Teodor |
