Default African dance sickle

I recently bought this sickle knife. After some research, I found this information : It's dance sickle from the Dadiya tribe living in Nigeria. This is a small tribe counting about 4000 people.

The Dadiya make forged iron ceremonial weapons, used by young men in their coming of age festival kal. This is called a 'jen'nyi' dance sickle.

This piece is completely made out of iron and has a geometric design on one side of the blade. It's not sharp.

Total length : 37,5 cm. Length of blade : 14,5 cm

Anyone seen one before ?

Beautiful little object and as you suggest a rare find. 4000 souls is a small tribe.
