Just discovered this site, a treasure trove of info and documents on Algeria if you can read French:

http://www.algerie-ancienne.com/info...formations.htm http://www.algerie-ancienne.com/livres/livres.htm It features loads of history and download-able, scanned and OCR-ed copies of the Revue Africaine journal and dozens of early-19th century books, documents and essays. I can't believe they actually scanned this stuff. The copies I found in my uni library were falling apart and it seemed like all this written history would be lost. Any software programmers out there who can send me a script for a full site dump? There's gigs of stuff here and it will take a long time to download everything individually... Emanuel |
