			I just acquired Italian rapier 16 century, from an old collection, very nice condition, blade is marked with belunese marca de mosca in betwen is IHS writen, there is also mark on ricaso that i dont know (if anyone knows it please do share info), there are also two shooting stars aka comet marks on the begining of ricasso, and cross on the blade.

			Nice sword. I think I’ve seen the maker’s mark before but can’t recall where. I looked through Staffan Kinman’s excellent book on the subject but couldn’t find it there.

			It's quite similar to this one, seen on a type II schiavona, though not identical.
