Pair of wood/steel ceremonial Khodmi

It's been a long time ago since my last post but I'm happy to be back here !
Let me introduce this nice little set of two knives, one of wood and the other one of steel.
It's a recent find and I've still to try to understand the using of the wood one !?! If someone can explain it to me, it will be with pleasure !
