I think that I would call it a tenegre. If it wasn't for the tapered scabbard tip I might have guessed that this could have been an older sword refitted to a more modern taste. Either way I like it. The antique malls around where I live have little to no edged weapons at all anymore. It seems as if everyone thinks that ebay is the answer to where to dispose of Dad's or Granddad's old junk.
