Default Early burgonets and nasals.

I have been researching early 16th century burgonets, or skull caps, depending on how you look at it. I've found a few that have nasals or appear to have had them at one point. I'm however wondering if these nasals are 17th century retrofits or whether they were originally fitted when these things were made in the 1st quarter of the 16th century.

Also, has anybody seen these helmets depicted in period (Q1 16th century) art?

These helmets are both from the GNM in Nürnberg.

The one with the nasal is: W1933
The one with no nasal is: W3035
