I offer this katthi from the Moplah people from the Malabar region of India. A quite heavy and robust chopper made for use. A four part iron ferrule give strength to the handle, thick (7,5 mm) ricasso, one-sided beveled cutting edge. Nicks to the edge and some spine damage, see pics.
46,7 cm long overall, blade with ricasso 29 cm, blade 3,75 mm thick at the spine behind the ricasso. 487 gram.
