these are not uncommon in the NL, have seen them before.
They may have come from anywhere although the ones I have seen were claimed to be Indonesian.
They are, by the way, I believe, forbidden in our country since the law specifically prohibits weapons which look like a different object (a swagger stick ).
Someone I know had been offering it on line on marktplaats and was quite promptly visited by the police. Be therefore aware of this possibility.
