Default Yes Sirupati

JeffS,

I agree with Battara, it is a sirupati and a really long blade at that. From what I can see, the blade is about 15.5". The brass furniture and the presence of a butt cap make me want to say civilian WWII or after. INMHO, the distance between the cho and the ferrule would also be unusual for an earlier blade. Really nice piece with a horn hilt and a reinforced edge blade. It was made for someone with some cash to spend and wanted a good, quick blade. What is the thickness of the spine at the hilt?

Sincerely,
RobT
