I don't think that it is a remounted spear blade, I think that it is desinged as dagger originally and possible of Philippine origin. :shrug:

The blade has the wrong form, the scabbard is wrong, the patination somewhat odd. The handle look good, nice carved. Sure I only can be when handling the piece but I am very skeptical....
