yakan budiaks average about 18 inches. there is a tausug spear here somewhere thats less than a foot. but i have to agree that size would depend on intended use.

hi forum members,

i have read and heard stories about the yoyo as a weapon in older times. most sources in the net attribute its martial origin to the philippines. i even read once (ripley's?)...

its a whip made out of the tail of a sting ray....

its a whip made out of the tail of a sting ray. used by the locals in older times to fight supposedly evil spirits (kapres, aswangs, etc).

this one still has its stinger on.
