Borneo jungle knife HMP
Here is a jungle knife, presumably from Borneo. What makes it interesting is that it is stamped H.M.P
Dimensions are shown in the photos and the blade is 1/4 inch thick at the ricasso.

One more
This one has a very small, yet thick and heavy head
( That's a normal sized zippo).
The head alone weighs about 400 g which on the end of a 65cm shaft makes for a good impact.

Flat Koummya
I suppose it is a Koummya although the cross-section of the scabbard is much flatter than I am used to seeing.
The two suspension loops are hinged.

Ivory or bone ?
I have handled a lot of these over the years and own quite a few now. I have never seen one with ivory on the hilt they are always horn / bone. To me they are everyday working knives not status...

Jacket / basket for I.D
Just bought this.
Cannot find the origin in my books. First thoughts were Naga or Nias but no luck with them.
