A fine Hobson made piece, high-end etching work with additional engraving.

American Wars Cuttoe 1760-1780, Hanger

This Cuttoe was probably used in American Colonies 1760-1776. I like it alot.

Very slight movement of lion head sideways if pressure exerted, overall very good. Original Scabbard, minus end piece....

Thanks for all the info guys. I had spotted Washington's sword previously..How (rare or not) are these pieces generally? As mentioned, I am usually more familiar with cavalry sabres.
