African axe and Knobkerrie
Recently bought these two items (seperately).I would be grateful for any information.
The axe has a forged head, the shaft has burnt (?) decoration with hand carved circles. Nicely balanced....

I thought most Dha blades were an 'interference' fit in the handle. Perhaps the tang was slightly 'over wrapped' before insertion, preventing a 'total' fit.
