Question What's this ???

I bought this piece yesterday. I really have no idea what I found. It looked genuine, it's heavy and quite sharp. Some kind of sickle (weapon), I guess.

Total length is 64 cm, with a wooden handle...

Could it be possible that this gun travelled from India to Africa ? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a big trade between India and the...

Question Congo rifle

Katana, Justin,

I think that it's far easier using steel from files than actually making your own steel.

As to the shape of these knives, yes they are all quite similar. I see that on Katana's...

Thumbs up Bou-saâdi knife

I recently found this knife on ebay. From time to time, similar knives are offered, mostly of a poor quality. But when I received this particular piece, I noticed it was really well made.

It is a...

Thumbs up sword/stick for sale

Before going on ebay, I'm offering this item to the members of this forum. Perhaps not very 'etnographical', but it's a very nice swordstick. Unfortunately, there's no sheath.

This piece measures...

It's not quite etnographic, but I also like small (pen)knives.

Here are the two smallest pieces of my penknife collection.

The 'card'knife measures 3 x 2,7 cm, with two blades of about 2,5 cm...
