I.D SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
Another oddity.
Blade is 12 1/2 " long. Overall length is 23 1/2".
Blade is 5/16 " thick at the back near the hilt. It is a very heavy item at just over a Kg in weight. Not at all...

The hilt was definitely made oval and has not been flattened. It is too uniform in construction to suggest some form of damage.
