Close helmet - what's the origin / type

Hi,

Please find attached close helmet. What I found a little bit not typical is that visor part is not opened in separation to main front part. Was that common? or was that appearing in that type...

Thank you very much for your comprehensive answer. You are fully right ! It nicely matches with cretan design, but it is not typical to have it as qama. Anyway Cretan work.

Unfortunately blade has no markings. Indeed it is similar to persian trade blades, might be older. I have attached few Pictures, where similar blade, or hilt shape...

I suspect persian blade from minimum XVIII.. but maybe XVII..

Not sure about coral and turquoise, but there is also decoration in red stones (carnelian). I've found Gusbi Jambiya from Yemen with similar decoration.
