A very nice Vietnamese guom for sale
 

I offer this very nice (in my humble opinion) Vietnamese guom for sale. The fittings are from brass, the handle is from some sort of horn, it's very dark in colour but I can't say exactly which horn it could be. The blade is free from rust but there is some minor pitting to it. It could be that the tip was once bent but its very straight now in it's actual condition, see pics. A very nice sword which was meant for use and not one of these parade guoms which have been for show/dress. No scabbard. 79 cm long, blade alone is 64,5 cm long and 6 mm thick at the spine directly behind the "habaki", 556 gram.
