Long Arm Miquelet-c1800-All Steel Tanchika 2 Attachment(s) Hi This firearm has what appears to be a name on the barrel but I am unable to decyer it. Does anyone have an idea what language this is in thanks cheers Cathey |

I can't translate the writing, but the gun looks Albanian to me. |

This is probably not a foreign language, but possibly cabalistic or enigmatic symbols in the form of letters. |

4 Attachment(s) Hi, Similar 'gobbledegook' on a Balkan pistol of mine. Regards, Norman. |

European arms were regarded superior than localy made in the balkans. So local smiths when they made a lock or a barrel, put latin letters in it so that it looks like coming from a european factory. It didnt matter that the letters made no sense, their cliends could not read either! |
