Middle eastern dagger ?

I have acquired / inherited a number of knives and a few swords. I have attached a photo of a knife that I cannot identify. I am hoping someone can help. thanks all

Possibly a version of a Moroccan Genoui dagger. The decoration looks like Moroccan, but I am not sure about that blade. Usually the Moroccan blades have alternate sharpened edges at about 60/40, rather than directly opposite as your appears to be. Are you able to post a pic of the blade itself please, as I am not convinced that it is not a recent replacement.
