I was watching that one and the Indo Jambiya in the same auction which went for a ridiculously high price .

Question is ; was it really Venetian or a Barbary Pirate Nimcha ?

Considered bidding on both but now I'm glad I didn't bother ... :p

A Piso Podang with only one bid of $1,253.00. The estimate was $200.00-$300.00 and the opening bid was lower than this? How could it get so high in one bid?

There was a single absentee buyer before him. I have a podang for sale; maybe he can contact me with his $1250 bid :D :D :D
