drove over to pick it up, very close in size to my other isizenze with the asymmetrical forged blade. except this one has some burnt decorations and a diamond cross section to the blade and this one has a peened tang while the other has it bent over to secure it.

haft is 50 cm. long, roughly 2cm. in dia. at the skinny part, 3cm. at the swelled end, 2.5cm. just before the large top part. blade is 39cm. long, 3.5cm. wide at the tang. the tang is about 7mm. thick, blade is distal tapered from the tang to the ends and is diamond cross section. weight is 414 grams (0.913 lb. or 14.6 oz.)

seller found it in a 99p car boot sale toolbox along with a bunch of tools, so he is happy that he made a huge profit, and i was pleased at getting a huge bargain. :) fuel to go get it cost about as much as the axe...
