Would any of you know if there is documentation or literature on yataghans produced by Zlatoust ?

If positive, kindly requested to provide details, even if they are written in cyrillic Russian

What I could find, and little do I know:) , was that quite some were dated back to the Crimean conflict between the Ottoman and Russian empires.

The first 2 pictures are no yataghan but a nice shaska, the others are yataghans.

Thanks a lot for any input, most highly appreciated!

Hello gp
My friend from Russia sent me these photos and a link.
He asked me to tell you that the checker that you posted in the topic is a modern fake that has nothing to do with Chrysostom. The last scimitar also has nothing to do with Chrysostom.
My friend said that as far as he knows in Zlatoust, scimitars were made individually in different years. They were usually made as gifts or curiosities.

Thanks for the links and photos. These are excellent examples of modern work from Zlatoust.

The yatagan shown has nothing to do with the Russian Empire and the weapons factory in Zlatoust:) It was produced in Austria-Hungary for Dalmation Landwehr M1869

.....I would like to see a factory-made weapon from the Tula and Zlatoust military factories for the Ottomans:D:D:D
