Oleys of shotley bridge
 

I'm hoping I can find some valueable information out about my family. My 5x great grandfather was Robert oley, my 6x grandfather was john oley and my 7x grandfather the original adam oley. I know they settled in shotley bridge and have read about the possible reasons they came. This was my nanas line of family and I find it really bizarre she didn't know/didn't tell anyone about them. So I'm just trying to "paint a picture" of them :-) it would be great to talk to anyone regarding them
