Hello guys,

Wondering for quite some time what kind of material my daggers handle is made from and/or what the inscriptions mean. Searching for quite some time without finding the true answer

Horn/bone?Yemen/iran?

With this quality of pictures, it looks like cow horn

Recent Jordanian, the handle is horn, either cow or goat.

Agree with Broadaxe, unfortunately. Very recent. Handles of shibriyas are cow, goat or sheep horn, often completely covered with metal sheet.
In some shibriyas, and especially Palestinian ones, modern materials are used for the grip, like bakelite or any hard plastic.
