Arms collection Dresden

Picking up my puppy in Saxony i took some pictures in Dresden, which i would like to post in the Forum as an early Christmas gift to all members.I took zwo days visiting Meissen and Dresden and here especially the arms collection ( Rüstkammer) of the Historisches Museum Dresden. You find it in the now completely restored and rebuilded Residenzschloss, which was ,like the hole town, badly damaged in the end of World War II.
The arms collection i saw the first time when it was located in the Sempergalerie near the Zwinger, 20 years ago.Now the collection is wonderful new arranged in the Residenzschloss. Also the Gewehrgalerie and the historic and new Grünes Gewölbe are to find there.I tried to make all in one day but it's tooooo much .You have to review the impressions of the visit,so that you can remember what you have seen .Please enjoy the pictures and have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

If the confused emoji represents a question about a 30-year-old North American pop culture reference here is a comical and irreverent summary of the old burger wars commercials from the 80s and early 90s https://youtu.be/_AjRR6c--Ak for those unfamiliar with the ad campaigns and their controversies.

If the confusion is over how such beautiful artifacts become the patterns for the gaudiest of US zeitgeists that is understood as well.

That's are the original coronation vestments of August the strong, elector of Saxony and king of Poland.Certainly the most expensive stuff you could buy in those times .If i remember right ,the face was made after his later death mask ......

I will add photographs taken in 2019 in Dresden. I apologize for the quality, but the camera was not the best.
