Please bear in mind my lack of qualifications to comment meaningfully on your mandau. Despite that, I'm pleased to say that I find the sword rather attractive; the carving is interesting, the blade looks like it was made for "social work." The decoration of the scabbard looks overdone to my eye, but again, see first sentence. (All comments address the first mandau.)

Close-up pictures of the blade (especially near the hilt) and the scabbard would be of interest.
