Ivory and other forbidden fruits

Ivory rules are very complex these days and often do not follow common sense. It is very important to know the rules for where you live and the rules that apply should an item have to cross a border (search CITES). (Similarly the seller must know the rules unless they wish to court Trouble).

Living as I do in New York State, USA, if not impossible to legally receive, the hassles and costs for buying and receiving such an item would surely outweigh the pleasures of acquisition.

Is this a personal offer from an associate or is this for sale in an auction or store somewhere?

FYI - we don't give monetary estimates or values on this forum due to liability issues. Also if this is for sale or at auction, we do not allow posts for such items.

You are free to use private messaging or emailing though.

Lee already addressed the ivory issues.
