Don't wanna be a spoil here, but the thread had a certain aim :)

Willem, I see faces on almost all the mandau's hilts posted, maybe very stylized, but still faces.... If not I'm sorry :o

I saw this handle from Privateer Productions, which makes replica weapons for films.

I was so impressed that I called the company, and the gentleman I spoke with told me that the piece is a replica of an actual mandau handle which he saw in a museum.
